Data Deletion Instructions

DjigbaChats is operated by Perspective GAIA Sarl. You can have your data deleted in any of the ways below, whether you are a business using DjigbaChats or a person who messaged one. We complete deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done.

If you are a business using DjigbaChats

Disconnect one channel and delete its conversations

  1. Log in at app.djigbachats.com.
  2. Go to Settings → Inboxes.
  3. Find the Facebook Page, Instagram or WhatsApp inbox, click the delete (trash) icon, and confirm.

This stops DjigbaChats from receiving messages for that channel. It also deletes the inbox's stored access token, conversations, messages and attachments.

Delete your whole account

Email [email protected] from the address you log in with, with the subject "Account deletion request". We will delete the account and everything in it within 30 days. That covers users, inboxes, conversations, contacts, catalog and uploaded files. Billing records are kept only as long as tax law requires.

If you messaged a business that uses DjigbaChats

Your messages belong to the business you wrote to, so you can ask them directly to delete your conversation. You can also email us at [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request" and include:

  • The name of the business you messaged.
  • The channel you used (WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram), plus your WhatsApp phone number or your Facebook / Instagram name, so we can find your conversation.

We will delete your contact record and your messages from that business's DjigbaChats account. We will then tell the business that we have done so.

Removing DjigbaChats from your Facebook or Instagram account

If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account, you can revoke DjigbaChats' access from Meta's side:

  1. On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
  2. Find DjigbaChats and click Remove.
  3. Meta tells us automatically when you remove the app or ask Facebook to delete your data. We record the request, give you a confirmation code with a page to check its status, and delete the data we hold within 30 days. You can also email [email protected] at any time.
